WebToGo NetCheck is a free app to test the performance of your Internet connections and easily determine which is the best one at any given time and place. NetCheck tests 3G, WiFi and LAN connections.

Munich, 29.11.2002 – WebToGo GmbH, a leading provider of Traffic Management, Diagnostics, Messaging and Cross and Up-Selling solutions for Network Operators and Device Manufacturers, today announced that it has published the WebToGo NetCheck app for the Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT Operating Systems.

WebToGo NetCheck is a freeware application which tests the performance of any 3G, WiFi or LAN network to determine the best connection at any given time and monitor the Quality of Service in different locations. The app measures:

• Round Trip Time
• Packet Loss
• Download Speed
• Upload Speed

These technical measurements are converted in simple-to-understand star rating for the current connection and the results are displayed on a map for each location where the test has been performed. Zooming the map in and out toggles the richness of the data displayed.

NetCheck has been made available on the Windows 8 app store just over 2 weeks after the launch of Windows 8 and builds on WebToGo’s experience in multiple connection management, monitoring and diagnostics on any platform and device. The application is fully compliant with the detailed style-guide Microsoft has in place for Windows 8 apps.
