WebToGo announces its Remote and Self Diagnostics Manager
WebToGo today announced availability of its Remote and Self Diagnostics Manager, which is available as an add-on to its popular OneClick Internet Connection Manager or as a stand-alone solution.
In the complex and multi-variable mobile Internet scenario there is a growing need to improve the quality of service and reduce customer care costs. This need is expressed by Mobile Network Operators and Internet Service Providers alike.
To answer this need WebToGo today announced the availability of its Remote and Self Diagnostics Manager. The Solution is available both as an add-on for WebToGo’s renowned OneClick Internet Connection Manager and as a stand alone tool for Windows and Mac laptops.
WebToGo‘s Remote and Self Diagnostics Manager is a client-server solution which analyses the status of the system, OS, modem device, drivers, connection manager software and connection. It operates at two levels:
- User self-service help: Polls relevant information that may influence connectivity problems and analyses any potential configuration problem. Fixes issues pro-actively or assists the user in fixing them
- MNO intelligence: The server connection allows to retrieve environment and configuration information from the PC/laptop up to WebToGo’s Management Server for further analysis.
The solution aims at drastically increasing the number of successful connections, simultaneously decreasing the number of support calls and the duration of those that are placed by allowing the user to provide clear and significant analytic information on the issue.
