WebToGo Mobiles Internet GmbH has developed the TIM Data Kit, which is available for download from TIM’s website and on an in-box CD with all the PCMCIA data cards sold by the italian mobile network operator.

The TIM Data Kit allows to connect both via WLAN and via the mobile network (UMTS, EDGE, GPRS or GSM). When you open the application, all available options are shown in the main window.

The TIM Data Kit software, delivered with all TIM branded PCMCIA cards, will establish a wireless Internet connection for you. This process is fast and intuitive and does not require any special technical knowledge. You only need to insert your UMTS/GPRS PC card, enter the PIN code for your SIM card and click on [Connect]. You will also be able to manage your SMS, MMS and phonebook using an intuitive interface and with the convenience of your computer’s keyboard and integrated with Microsoft Outlook®.
