WebToGo announces LTE support
WebToGo today announced the first successful LTE connection with its OneClick Internet Connection Manager.
As LTE gradually becomes available with an increasing number of Mobile Network Operators worldwide, WebToGo today announced that its multi-device, cross-platform OneClick Internet Connection Manager is now LTE-ready.
Long Term Evolution (LTE), is the latest mobile network technology standard, reaching downlink peak rates of at least 100 Mbps, uplink of at least 50 Mbps and RAN round-trip times of less than 10 ms.
Part of the LTE standard is the System Architecture Evolution, a flat IP-based network architecture designed to replace the GPRS Core Network and ensure support for, and mobility between, for example GPRS and WiMAX respectively.
WebToGo OneClick Internet’s support of all legacy and current mobile network technologies, such as GSM, GPRS, UMTS, WiFi, WiMAX and LTE makes it the ideal connectivity solution for the Mobile Network Operator who wants to ensure constant coverage through seamless handover between older and current network technologies.
